What Air conditioning Does
We would not pretend to tell you that air conditioning is as important to you in winter as it is in summer. However, there are strong reasons for using the system all year round.
1. Filtering of the air
Air passing through the cabin unit (the evaporator to use the correct terminology!) is filtered of a great many water soluble pollutants and particles.
2. Drying of the air
The air from your cabin passes over the very cold metal work of the evaporator. After this has occurred it may be heated again. The cooling process which occurs first condenses the moisture from your cabin. It then drips off into a reservoir, down through the drain tube and away from you! The result is clear windows and a dry cabin.
